This Christmas toile pillow cover tells the story of bringing the tree home: a horse-drawn sleigh, a fresh-cut fir carried home through the snow and a red barn hung with a wreath, engraved in warm barn red on cream.

The front carries the full tree farm scene in toile vignettes; the back turns to small fir trees, wreaths and snowflakes in the same red, a softer look for the rest of the winter. It sits naturally beside our red Christmas toile village.

Mix it with red gingham, buffalo check or cream grain sack stripes on a farmhouse sofa or a bench in the entry.

SIZING
The 18x18 and 20x20 sizes are the usual sofa choices. Go 24x24 or 26x26 for deep sectionals, beds and floor seating, and keep 14x14 or 16x16 for reading chairs and window seats. Choose the same size as your insert for a full, plump look.

CARE
Take the insert out and wash the cover cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Skip the bleach, then tumble dry low or line dry. If it needs pressing, use a low iron and keep it off the printed face.
